Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

Bareplay collects no data. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and no servers. Bareplay runs entirely on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Bareplay does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It contains no analytics or tracking, shows no ads, and requires no account or sign-in. Bareplay has no backend servers of its own, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent.

Your music and files

When you add a music source, iOS grants Bareplay access to the folder you choose through the system Files layer. Bareplay reads those files only to browse and play your music on your device. Your files, their contents, and your library are never uploaded to us or shared with anyone — we never see them.

Purchases

The one-time “Unlimited Playback” purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction and your payment details; Bareplay never receives or stores any payment information. The app only checks with Apple whether the purchase is active, in order to unlock unlimited playback. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Third parties

None. Bareplay includes no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising networks, or trackers.

Children

Bareplay is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
